Subject: RE: Purdue BoilermanThe bike is around the lake, it has some hills nothing major, there is a climb around mile 14 that is about a 1/2 mile long but not steep I never got under 16 mph on it, and another mile around mile 15 or so that is a short steep climb that you run also. The run goes around the camp ground on access roads, then comes out onto the bike course right before the only real hill on the course. You then run about a 1 mile to 1 1/2 mile on the road and turn into the woods for a trail run for about 3/4 of a mile with steps and a bridge, then back to the road for the final .5 mile.
I think it's a fast bike course I averaged 21.5 last year on it, your transistion times will be added to your bike split and some of the run, since you don't have T1 or T2 splits so if you look at the results bike times may look slow, but there's probably 2-3 minutes added to it for T1 and T2 and it's a long run from the beach to T1.
