Subject: VASA Run
It's this saturday (Oct 11th), who is running it? 5k, 10k, or 25k? I am thinking about doing the 10k, and although I haven't been on that loop I was observing last year's times and the winner came in at around 48 minutes!!! Most of the pack at an hour +. If it's anything like the 5k loop, it's gonna be a challenge worth taking on. Any experienced VASA runners wanna chime in?

I thought about doing the 25 K this year, but went with the trail mary a couple of weeks ago.  I love hitting the VASA for XC Skiing over the winter months and know it would be a great course to run.

So I'll just have it on my to do list for the future.

I live right by the VASA trailhead and many of my training runs are on these loops. Be prepared for lots of ups and downs! There are only a couple 'big' hills but the terrain is definately not flat. Be careful on the downhills as there are a lot of roots and some washouts from heavy rains.

I won't be running this becauseI just returned from the Twin Cities Marathon. Have fun and Good Luck!
