I like the idea of the ergomo as it can work with any existing wheels(Power Tap doesn't work for Hed 3s), but I haven't seen many reviews on it anywhere. Does anyone have experience with the different Ergomo models?

Ergomo is in bankruptcy proceedings.  Their US distributor has dropped them both due to financial issues and very poor return rates (quoted at about 30%).  The people that have no issues seem to love them but I bet you could pick them up on eBay for a steal.  Take a look at Quarq for a lower cost crank based system.
