BEST 5k (actually 3.4 miles) in the metroplex!!!!

Thursday, Oct. 23rd in the evening is the annual Friends of the River run. The Party in the Village is such a blast with the best post party of any running event I have ever been to. There are 30 plus local restaurants that give out food, live music, activities for the kids and fun prizes. You can bring your dog and do Fido's run and they even have treats for the dogs! Check out www.streamsandvalleys.org or you can go on facebook and see who has already signed up for it! It starts at University Village in Ft. Worth right off I-30. Hope to see some of you there! The proceeds go towards helping to build more bike trails and for improvements on the trails. Oct. 15th is the last day to sign up at the discounted rate and you can sign up online.
