Hi all just to let you know this is national thyroid month it takes a few mins to check for any change , ie lumps, if there is any thing that worries you see your Dr, I found a lump at the beginning of december 2008 and it turned out to be cancer, i am all clear now, early detection is vital.thanks for readingSarah

I am glad you are OK. I don't know the statistics, but thyroid issues seem to be on a marked rise.

To the OP - thanks for the post. It comes too late for some of us, but definitely not for others. Detection of thyroid cancer has come leaps and bounds in the last few decades, which is why its prevalance is being noted.
