Subject: Pull ahead or drop back

When riding side by side with a stronger biker and a car is coming from behind, do you pull ahead or drop back to go single file?  I tend to always drop back and tuck in behind my riding partner and catch a nice draft for a little while till the car passes.  Some times I feel guilty....but not really.  :-)

I tend to drop back if I'm the one in the road.  If not I take the cue from my partner.  Either way I communicate with my partner so we both don't do the same thing.

I change it up.  If my riding partner has been stuck doing that a few times then I'll make sure to get my fair share in.  Also depends on if there are more then 2 of us and who might be behind.  Might be that I have to pull ahead.  But, it is a good surge drill and not a bad little training thing to be the one to jump ahead.
