Subject: What pedals/shoes?
Im buying some clipless pedals this week for my tri bike. Ive never used clipless pedals. As far as the shoes go im thinking about getting the specialized tri shoes cause there comfy, I have a specialized bike and they match. What are yall using as far as shoes and pedals. Thanks for the info!

There is a wide variety. Most shoes will take the cleats for most pedals. You've already chosen your shoes, so just choose pedals and cleats that go with those shoes.  (Doing so shouldl not be a problem.)

I use Look Keo pedals, and love them.  Others swear by other pedals.  Try them out and see what you like.  (Pay attention to how the forces feel on your foot, and try to extrapolate (not easy!!!!) to the longest ride you hope to do in the near future; can your feet handle that pressure for that length of time?)

Get whichever shoes are the most comfy for your feet.  I had to get mens shoes because of the wide feet.

I have speedplay zero pedals and love them.  I do not have to fumble around trying to clip-in after a stop - I just press/stomp my shoe onto the pedal and go.  And, there is a lot of play in the pedal so my crazy knees have room to pivot and move around without coming unclipped.
