Subject: How do you have time for recovery?

I've been wondering, between training for cycle and running my legs never really get a rest. I suppose that I could do cycle and running on the same day, but then the quality of one of the work outs would decrease. Any suggestions?

keep sessions short/easy while your fitness level increases and your legs get used to the frequency. Also alternate easy with moderate intensity sessions/days.

Ice Baths are amazing for recovery.  You can also put a pillow under them at night when you sleep - elevation helps them recover.

I try to fit a swim day between long bike/run days. That works well for me.
