Subject: IMWI 09 volunteers

So, I'm reading about all you guys who are in for 09 and feeling a bit bummed that I did not sign up.  But the plan was to do it this year, which I did,  Yeah me! and then volunteer in 09 so I can sign up for 2010.

Here are my questions to those who've volunteered in the past.  When do you sign up to volunteer?, when should you book a hotel? and for what days just saturday and sunday of race weekend?

There will be a sign up on the Ironmanwisconsin.com site as we get closer.  They will have a date as to when you can start signing up for duties.  Thats the way it was in '07 anyhow.

Generally volunteer sign up starts sometime in April.  Usually someone posts when the volunteer section opens, and if you want something in the swim section or the more popular section, you want to sign up relatively early in the process.
