I had someone post on my introduction thread that there are some other type 1 diabetics on BT.

I have had type 1 diabetes for over 35 years but just started competing in triathlon last July.  I did my first sprint.

Would love to talk to other type 1s who do longer events as IM is one of my goals.

Peace

Michael

BTW I hope this is the right forum for this post??

I worked the change tent of IMWI this weekend and helped a Type 1 check his sugar at T2.  He had his kit in his gear bag.  I opened it up and gave it too him, he checked it, his reading was 126 which he said was "perfect"and he grabbed his visor and headed out on the run!

124 is a good place to stay if you can while racing

IPOD pump...hmmm.... I wonder how the official thought the headphones were working plugged into the guys stomach (grin)
