I HAVE BEEN DOING TRIS FOR 2 YEARS AND HAVE DONE 12 RACES.. A BUNCH OF SPRINTS AND OLY. DISTANCES...THIS PAST WEEKEND I DID THE QUAKERMAN PA 1/2 IRONMAN.. THE RACE WAS IN THE POURING RAIN...MY QUESTION IS WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE WITH MY BIKE SINCE I BIKED IN THE RAIN....
Clean your bike like you normally would. After a couple of days, listen for water in your frame. If there is, then take your seat post off and drain the water out. Other than that, just lube your chain.
I had a race where I even managed to get water inside my rims. That was awesome!!

Was being clipped into your pedals during the swim a strategy to shave time off the first transition? How did that work out for you?
