Pre-race routine:

Since I am on Vacation while the Randolph, NJ Sprint Tri took place, I decided to Train for a Sprint Tri, and do one while on Vacation at Camp Eaton in Raymond Maine. On the shore of Little Sebago Lake. Family and close friends in attendance, and Of course Race organizer Betty Eaton...
Event warmup:

Race Start time was 7:03 a.m.
At 5:45 I let the dog outside to Pee and Poop
Ate a small bowl of Cheerios at 6:10
Hit the toliet a few times and got my Bike ready next to the Car.
From 6:45 to 7 I did a great stretch, and jumped off the dock to get adjusted to the water temp.

Nice!  Your race report caught my eye, as I thought "I didn't know there was a sprint down in Raymond!"  Yep, 38 mph on the downhills, that sounds about right for Maine. Congrats on winning your age group!

I really am feeling bad that I posted this Race Report after reading all the REAL reports from the weekend. Sorry if it disturbs anyone. But I did train for the Morris Center Y Tri in Randolph, and set a goal with the Family and Friends to do this while in Maine at the Camp on Little Sebago Lake.

The big positive of this race is it limited my Beer and Vodka consumption to 2 nights instead of 4. Which is a big plus for someone on VACATION..

Thanks everyone!! And I promise my next report will be a real race with more than one Racer!!!
