There is two way traffic in each lane and then with people trying to pass, it can lead to an open water atmosphere. The bike isn't bad either. Couple of hills, but nothing major. And its a decent sized race, so it leads to a good atmosphere. Thanks for the recommendation - sounds like a good race. If I can get over the 2nd degree burn on my foot, and actually get some swim in somewhere here in Etown (any affordable recommendations, PT? (Etown S&F is not that affordable, IMO)), I'll likely sign up. Would be nice not to have to invest in a wetsuit for my first tri. Thanks again. And I'll take you up on the ride offer from earlier, once I get my base back up - just can't even fit my foot in a shoe right now. |
