Subject: Time to climb
If I normally run a mile in 8-9 minutes, how long should 1.5 Miles up a small mountain ~550 feet take?

I third this. The snarky answer is "longer." The real answer is that there's no formula for calculating this. It really depends on a number of variables including how strong of a hill runner you are, how your overall fitness is, what the weather is like and how even the climb is throughout the 1.5 miles, to name a few.

Wife scratched my run up the mountain to apple picking.  I had to settle for a 3 mile flat before our drive.
