Subject: RE: Which Swim Fins?More on the zoomers: • Zoomers come in two models • Red fins for advanced competitive swimmers with a developed, strong kick • Blue fins are for swimmers who don't swim every day, but are looking for a strength-training workout *There are also traditionalists that don't think swimmers need to train with fins. When your injury improves... work on developing your kick by swimming all the kicks (on back with hands above head, on side or front, breast kick - arms out front, dolphin kick) Use pace times to improve your speed. Kick 50m on 1min, next time try 50m on 55sec, and so on. Do this for about 4 sets per workout. Slowly reducing the time it takes for the swim. You can also use your fins at the end of your workout if you want. ** At the same time do drills for your stokes in your workout as well. I go on youtube and look up swim coach videos. There are some really great resources.
