Where to ride long?

Welcome to BT! There are quite a few group rides by the AZ BT folks in the valley. I think they're out on one right now. Check the "Sunday Ride" thread here in the AZ forum for updates. They also organize a Wednesday morning ride.

Only two of us were at the Flag Marathon yesterday. Did you do the full? It was beautiful, wasn't it? I ran the 10K and BT-"DMillis1" (also up here in Flag) ran the full. I don't see the results posted anywhere yet...

Thanks for the group ride information - I've taken note.  I ran the full yesterday in Flagstaff, I haven't seen any internet posted results yet either.

No one has any other specific suggestions?

I think a couple more options for you would be around South Mountain...I haven't done that ride but I believe it is around 60 miles?  or I ride loops down to Sacaton and back after another BTer here told me about it.  It's a 26 mile loop from my house in South Chandler but from Ahwatukee you would probably have to drive over and park.  I usually do that loop once a week if you wanted to meet up for it.  

I think you should do the Wickenburg ride with us.  See that thread as well!
