Alright, we tried this once before with no success, so let's try again.  Does anyone want to get together and have a transitions practice this Saturday morning/afternoon?  Nothing fancy, just work on set ups, in's/out's, tips, etc.

Let me know.

Unfortunately, I have some other obligations for Sat. I'm a total noob w/ 1 sprint under my belt. I could use all the practice/training I can get!!

I have been considering doing a "practice / mini tri" @ Ocean View Beach/Park. (The park across from the shopping center near 1st View.)  An OWS, T1 in the park, ride out to the end of Willoughby Spit & back (rough road but low traffic & bike lanes), T2 in the park, and a short run in OV.  With open streets & traffic, time is not hugely important -- training for technique is.

Thoughts??

Sorry Ollie, I'm completely booked up this upcoming weekend.

I've been trying all day to figure out a way to make it, as my first tri is the 19th (3Sport).

I may take a day off next week just to get in a transition practice run.

There is one going on already in the Chesapeake area. PM if you want details. I think Mo knows about it. I wont be there, I'll be going north for Colonial Beach.

Practice is always good.. it helps build cofidence in what you are doing. Sometimes race day can be intimidating(all the activity).. so the practice makes it second nature.. Your first tri is a learning experience, just go out finish and have fun doing it... remember to leave it all on the course..

don't overthink it... just do it..
