I know there are a lot of volunteers out there and I was wondering where everyone would be.  I have a break between shifts and would love to meet up with some fellow BTer's/Donks to cheer everyone on.  Any predesignated cheering spots between noon and 3?

I'll be at:

Friday - Registration 9:00 - 1 at the Monona Terrace

Sunday - Female Change Tent 7:30 - 11:00 at the Monona Terrace

Sunday - Catcher at the finish line 3:30 - 8:00pm

67 Whalen/MVerona for bike marshal 8:10-1:45 is where I will be but any time around that I am free. Maybe we should get a list of #?  I do not know the area at all and was hoping to hang with the Donks/BTers.

I'll be sag wagon all day (7am-7pm), but don't have a specific sector(s). Just look for the gray pickup truck with the plates that say "STK N RDR" (aviation term). Maybe a donkey logo...trying to arrange something with DJDavey.

I'll be at Rimrock Rd and Lake George (which isn't even a turn) from 7:45 - 9:45 (or until the last biker comes through). So every stinkin' one of you is gonna go past me. I expect some Eeeaaaawwww! action. Look for the donkey flag.

I'll be at the swim start before hand, most likely. We need the super secret forum where we can all post our cell phone numbers...

Bike Sector Captain on some stretch of road on the far out bike course from 4:30a-2p.  I'll know my section Friday after 4pm.

I'll have the list of #s, but if any donks see a burgundy mini-van roving a section before I see you, give an eeeeeee-aaaaaaaaawwwww and you'll get one back.

Make sure you point in the right direction on your straightaway!

What pray-tell doth the Donkey Flag look like?  (Besides a donkey picture on a piece of fabric in the shape of a flag!)

I won't be getting up there until way later than normal (for me) this year (probably not until after the swim start.)  My original plan was to go to the bike course and doing some sidewalk chalking.  However, it was pointed out to me by the wonderful SandiVB that the racers will probably be going to fast to notice (though I was thinking about doing it on one of the hills...) and recommended the run course instead.  I thought that was a fabulous idea, so I'm going to try to stake out a piece of real estate to get my chalk on.  If anyone has recommendations of an area and/or would like to meet me to help with the art work, lemme know. (I don't know Madison that well...it's probably best for me to stick near the capitol anyway).

I have one shift...catching from 5:30 to 9:30.

It's pretty much that...it's the donkey head on a flag.
