I don't know which one to sign up for, I'm torn between Timberman, RI 70.3 or Austin 70.3.
Any recommendations?

From knowing the quality races Keith Jordan puts on Longhorn or Timberman will be great races.

From what I read about RI 70.3 I would never do it and I could sleep at home and do the race...2 hours to check in? 2 transitions? bike through nasty neighborhood? All the things I've read about RI 70.3 leaves me unimpressed.

Haven't done Timberman...but will someday.  Just did Longhorn Austin 70.3...and it's simply awesome.  Now, Keith Jordan (Endorfun Sports) puts on both Timberman and Longhorn...so you're going to get a TOP NOTCH AWESOME race at either of those events. Hands down, his races will take care of you as an athlete in every aspect...it will be great.  Timberman is closer to you, but if you want a destination/travel place, we Texans are a lot of fun, you'll have tons of support on that course, and likely lots of BT'ers and a BT tent like this year. Not to mention that Austin is a fun place to visit, and if you are spending some time in TX as part of a vacation, San Antonio is just an hour away--those are probably the two best tourist cities/culture in the state....at least from a natives perspective.
