I've never done the race out there, but I did stop by and take a look at the lake one day while I was coming home from Gainesville. The lake didn't look too bad, but I wouldn't go out swimming by myself if you know what I mean. It's a rural area and the roads are pancake flat. I don't think they've had much of a turn out so placing in your AG ought to be easier.

Its me versus the creatures! When I was young, I swam in Florida's lakes all the time, thought nothing of it. But, 20 years later, its close to impossible to get me in there. Guess now I know better.
