Subject: water in ears...
I get water in my ears when i swim, even with a swim cap over them...its sorta uncomfortable...is this normal or what?

Yes. Happens all the time. After training, I put a little Isopropyl Alcohol in them and it releases the water ASAP.

Wear earplugs. There are lots of different types (foam, silicone, soft plastic, etc.) and they're all cheap- buy a few and see what works best.

Yep. And I'm with DougRob: I drop about 6 drops of isopropyl alcohol in an ear with water, let it sit in there for about 5 seconds, and then turn my head to "dump" it out. I learned that from a college swimming buddy.

Yup-- it's happened to me since my swim-team days eons ago.

Another vote for isopropyl alcohol, too-- it dries the ears right out.

Ear plugs help a lot. They also eliminate the dizzyness in T-1 if you have ever experienced that.

You probably do get water in the ears, it just drains well before you notice.
