Anyone use any of the wireless computers and have any recommendations? My wired computer now is on the fritz and I'm thinking of upgrading to a wireless unit. I prefer cadence to be an option as well.

I use a Cateye wireless.  Can't remember the model and I'm not at home.  Just killing work time .   No complaints.  It has cadence, also.  A neat feature that I like is the lap function.  You can hit the lap button and get splits.  I use this when doing interval training.

Thanks. Right now I think I'm looking most at the Cateye V2C and one of the Mavic Wintech models as they've both upgraded to the 2.4g transmission. I have heard mixed reviews on both though.

I haven't tried the Cateye yet but I had the Mavic and after 2 returns for repairs I finally gave up and got my money back.  I liked the design but it never worked for me.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't get a chance to check this after leaving work yesterday but that is what I picked up last night. I'll get it installed before tomorrow's ride and hopefully have good luck with it as well. I've heard the 2.4g computers are much better than the previous generations.

So I've gotten my Cateye V2C installed and working. Rode with it on Saturday and at raced with it at Stonebridge on Sunday. Initial results look good. I really like the 3 line display that shows me speed, cadence, and something else of my choosing at all times. I also like that I get average cadence now that my old computer did not have.

I haven't had any drop-outs yet as the distances and times of both my rides are what I expected. On my Saturday ride I did have a bogus max cadence of 165 but my max speeds and averages for both cadence and speed seemed accurate.

Thanks for all the suggestions from everyone. Despite the higher price, I think this new Cateye has been worth it so far.
