Ride Description
We are doing the Roswell Ride on Tuesday 6pm leaving from the Roswell Area Park upper parking lot.  Starting at Roswell Area Park we ride through Historic Downtown Roswell.  We then take a few good hills followed by a ride down Riverside along the Chattahoochee, with a lot of good hills a long the way back to the finish.

A & B Group
We are going back to the shorter route this week and depending on the turnout may have an A & B group.

Don't forget your running shoes and Taco Mac Passport
Be prepared for a short 1.5 mile run around RAP after the ride, before heading up to Taco Mac for some well earned refreshment. We usually arrive at Taco Mac around 8:15pm and it is located at 685 Crossville Rd in Roswell, GA.  Last week we had a better turnout at Taco Mac than on the ride!  Feel free to come out and share your triathlon tales at Taco Mac, even if you can't make the ride...

Weather Guideline
It's currently forecasted to be sunny and 83 degrees at 6pm Tuesday.

Motivation
Today I watched some interesting videos on the Cervelo Test Team at http://www.bartape.net/.
They're like a documentaries/commercials about Cervelo bikes and riders at various races this season.
Now I'm pumped up for the big ride on the Cervelo P2C Tuesday night...

Only a few more Roswell Rides Remain
The last couple weeks we have had some great rides of the longer 28 mile route.  Since it's starting to get dark earlier, this week we are doing the 22 mile route.  We are getting down to the last few Roswell Rides of the season.
I hope you get a chance to t
ake advantage of the wonderful riding weather we have been having the last few weeks and Challenge the Hills of Roswell with us on Tuesday Night...

See
you there!

Justin

Another interesting preview of the Leadville 100 Movie with Lance coming to theaters in October.
http://raceacrossthesky.com/

Just watch this and the Cervelo videos on Tuesday afternoon and you will be ready to RIDE on Tuesday night.  Already psyched about the movie I'm sure they will produce when Lance eventually does the Kona Ironman...

Dear Social Director Courtney,
If you are reading this, Congratulations again on completing your first Ironman!
I think a trip to the movies in October would make for a great club social event, unless we already have something planned.
It would be interesting to see Lance Challenge the Hills of Leadville.
Who knows maybe Challenging the Hills of Roswell will be next...

It's all Greek to me.

I'm planning to be there tonight, but was sick yesterday so I'm not positive.  I do, however, have some samples of the new Gu flavors.

Dear Fabulous Tuesday Night Ride Leader Justin,
That's a very good idea and I'll keep it noted on my calendar.
I thoroughly enjoyed the movie Running on the Sun that details the Badwater Ultra Marathon.
I also really liked seeing Spirit of the Marathon in the theater.
Spirit of the Marathon might have made me cry.

Here's another good one, Running the Shara, it's not coming to Atlanta at this point.

My bike is in the car but getting out of work on time might be tough.  I'm going to do my best to get there.

There is certainly no doubt that I NEED a ride after this past weekend.  You'll all have to excuse me if, rather than sweat, my pores are excreting beef and beer.  Tongue out

Stephanie,
Looking forward to trying out the new flavors of GU.  I'll be providing a NAMSC member code review this evening on the ride.

Jay,
The Roswell Ride is a great opportunity to sweat all that stuff out of your system.

Katie,
I hope you can keep the flight change fees less than the original cost of your ticket this week...

Courtney,
Thanks for the Movie Recommendations.  Running the Sahara and Spirit of the Marathon are good movies.  If anyone wants to watch without waiting on a DVD these two movies are available for immediate download in iTunes and Apple TV.  Spirit of the Marathon is available for immediate download for Tivo users on Amazon or Netflix.
I have not seen Running on the Sun yet.  Looking forward to learning more about Badwater.  I prefer my brain unfried and have no plans to ever attempt to qualify for an insane event like that, regardless of what an exciting movie it makes...Practically fried my brain at the Covington Century last year and not looking to ever repeat that again.
Glad you know the code and looking forward to the possible club Social event in October.

I think we have a few good Cycling and Running movie recommendations.  Are there any good Swimming or Triathon Movies?

See everybody on the ride.

Justin
