I got an email about this event - looks like they have 750m and 1500m OWS, a 750m/5k Aquathon and a 5k/1500m/5k Aquathon.

I am seriously considering the 750m/5k Aquathon.  Anyone else going to be there?  Anyone else know anything about it?  Registration is at Keifer for the next 3 days...

run -> swim -> run?  Now that's intriguing.

That's what the email said - sounds like a recipe for OW rescue training to me - I would cramp up bad on the swim!

Looked interesting, but I either have a long ride that day.... or a half marathon. What's the date again?

I was seriously contemplating doing the 5k - 1500 - 5k for the endurance aspect of it. My SIL and BIL are coming into town and neither of them would do it with me (and my wife puts the squash on activites when they are down. She has no issues with me doing LSR's or Long bike on the weekend......or races.....or anything.....she just thinks that it's rude to do when they are down).

Sorry for turning this into a b!tch session. I might try to get my wife drunk tonight and talk her into it then.

Sounds like a fun time though.

I signed up at lunch down at Keifer.  So I am in with the 750m / 5k...

Brad  -I will say that if you get you wife drunk and then use that opportunity to talk her into you working out, then your priorities are seriously misplaced

THAT was last night....I'm good for another few days.

I've got to pick my battles.
