Subject: king of the hill tri
did the tupelo king of the hill.....wow 1/2 mile swim is a long way....ok not ready for that distance...but did not drown....so all in all had a great time and finished.....perhaps a little quicker next year....

But you did it...and that's what counts. I did hear that the swim portion may have been long. Swims are always a crap shoot, anyway, I think. One week I swim a 1/2 mile in 15 minutes, the next race, it takes me 20 minutes. I know it's not just me...

We went over a 1000 yards on that swim.  I'm guessing even close to 1100. 

That was a really fun course outside of the hill up to T1.

I have to admit that it was the most fun i have had since plucking chickens......the vols were great and the particapants were great as well.....this was a very nice time. 30 lbs lighter than this time last year......1 year removed from cigs.....ah yes i enjoyed this a little to much, even with the wondering if i would finish the swim. will hopefully be back next year.
