Subject: RE: cateye computersI have the Cateye Double Wireless on both my tri- and road bike ... and they are "okay". They are notoriously difficult to set-up in that the instruction manual is just plain horriblely written - couple that with a clunky system to set it up and it makes Polar look like an Apple product. There was some discussion about potential wireless "cross talk" that interfered with heart rate monitors, but I believe that has largely been worked out. All of that said, Cateye is known for their reliability and regarded by many as one of the gold standards in cyclocomputers. Keep your eye on Performance Bikes as they routinely have sales on cyclocomputers. |
