Subject: I Got My Tattoo Last Night!!! (with pics!)

We went to the tattoo shop last night to get an estimate.  We ended up going back at 10:00pm and I got the tattoo!!  While it wasn't a pleasant experience, it definitely wasn't as bad as I was expecting. 

 

Here I am trying to get comfortable while my artist (Pat) seems to do a LONG line of the swimmer.

Here's the finished product.  To give you an idea, all he put on my leg at first was the outline of the shapes.  He added all the shading freehand based on the sketch I brought in.  Talk about talent!!

My wife was watching for signs of anguish the whole time.  With camera in hand.  Just waiting to catch the perfect shot of me in unbelievable pain.  Too bad it never came (or should I say that I was able to hide it well!!)

Using Firefox, I right clicked on the pics and chose "View Image" and they showed up...

When I got my MDot tat 2 weeks ago... the pain came! Boyfriend has a picture of me red in the face and looking like I was going to vomit I was in so much pain. HA!
