Wellington...she is a genetic freak. Either that or we all need to spend some serious time in the Himalayas. Colorado may be overrated.

I dont see anyone touching Chrissie Wellington. She has really taken the sport by storm over the past year. Has she even lost a race yet? Too bad about Natasha Badman not being in, It would be great to see her and Chrissie go at it on NBC.

I can not see anyone beating Wellington this year with McGlone out. Even at that I think Wellington is in a league of her own. Some of the 2nd tier pro men are going to be looking at her back. I will say I think she puts 10 - 15 minutes on the field which will consist of Major, Csomor and Van Vlerken. So here goes:

1. Wellington
2. Major
3. Csomor
4. Van Vlerken
5. Comerford

Charlotte Paul could mess up my top 5 prediction though.

I'm going with our local pro who won IMLP with sub 3 hour Mary which was a record for women on the course.

Kate Snow..not sure if she is racing with her married name or not...she got married Friday before IMLP.

Have that list isn't even racing???????? Wellington is head and shoulders above all others racing and someone is going to need an amazing day to go toe to toe with her. If Wellington has a good day - game set match.

Wellington wont be challenged at all unless she runs into mechanical isuess, prob some of the TBB females will round the podium. As for the top US female I am going to go with Kate Snow.

Chrissie Wellington takes it, I saw her at ITU Long Course Worlds this year and it looked like she could have gone on forever after smoking the women's field
