Subject: Be Careful Out There
I decided to start riding my mtn bike as a change of pace with the weather getting cooler.

Sat morning...7 miles in...was planning to turn left and looked back to see where the next car was...front tire slipped off the pavement and into the sand shoulder...over the bars I go!

Landed right on the pavement with a broken clavicle. I guess this is OFFICIALLY my offseason now. Off to the orthopedist this afternoon.

650 miles on the tri bike at much faster speeds and 7 miles on a mtb and flat road does me in.

That sucks.. I broke my right clavicle in high school two time within 5 months....NOT FUN. Look at it this way, no better time than now.

heal fast and enjoy the off time.
