IMFL When are you arriving?

Master  1728     Pulaski TN |  Subject: IMFL When are you arriving?Ok the other thread got me thinking so just wanted to see what everyones plans were. I am getting there Tuesday night and will do the swim on Wednesday and Thursday and will also get some rides and a few runs in. So what about everyone else? |

Champion 5615 | Subject: RE: IMFL When are you arriving? I'm going to arrive on Wednesday, probably around noon. I'm planning to head for packet pick-up once I arrive. I'm not supposed to be able to check in to my condo until 3pm so I'll probably head to Wal-Mart/etc and do all of my shopping before checking in. I'm planning to do the G'ade swim on Thursday and Friday. On Friday, I'll do my 15/15/15 pre-race workout (15 minutes of each discipline right after each other). |

Regular 85 Augusta, Ga | Subject: RE: IMFL When are you arriving? More than likely arriving Tuesday night. Planning on doing the swims being as I have only done one other ocean swim ever. Of course a run or two and some biking. Then the pre race stuff like packet pick-up, dinner, and meeting. Family will arrive Thursday and Trick-or-Treat on Friday night. |

I'd like to get my hotel squared away and then get my bike from tribike transport. I'm up for the friday post swim meeting, and maybe thursday too, but I wasn't planning on attending the dinners. They stress me way way out and I'm better off if I just cook something and sit quietly!! |

I have never done an ocean swim so I need the practice. We are staying until Monday I plan on sipping magaritas by the pool all day Sunday. |

Probably doing the Gatorade swim when we get there, then we'll get registered, check out the expo and pick up some groceries before we can check into our condo - we're at the Boardwalk too. Thurs. we'll probably drive the bike course and really try to take it easy...supposed to be a complete day of rest for me, so if you see me trying to sneak in another swim - stop me! Friday is a :30 swim, :45 bike, and :15 run. |

We're getting there Wednesday as well, and hopefully I can head directly to the swim before getting to our condo and checking in, etc. Maybe those of us getting there for the Wednesday swim can meet up then?!? I'd like some friendly faces when I hit the swim for the first time. I'm doing the swim all 3 days and :15 bike/run all 3 days. |

I rented a car, so anyone needing a ride let me know. I haven't figured out bike transportation yet. I plan to drive the whole bike course - probably on Wednesday, again anyone needing a ride let me know, I'd be happy to have some company. I also plan to do the swim on all three days. |
