Garmin offered a $50 rebate around this time last year, no guarantee that they'll do so again, nor is there anyway of telling unless someone has an inside source. $200 seems to be the going rate, Froogle finds it cheapest at $183 with $19.44 shipping.

I have a 305 I used exactly once (my usual one was on the fritz and I bought it thinking I needed a new one, but I fixed my old one) for all of 45 minutes that I'll sell you for $200. It still has all the cables, CD, etc. Send me a PM if you're interested.

I just got a 305 from buydig.com for $196.87.  This included $6.00 for 3-6 day shipping, and I received it in about five days.

I just bought mine from Amazon 2 weeks ago. i think it is a great price. I thought about it for along time. Now I wonder why I took so long to get one. I'm obsessed with mine.

I got mine about a week ago from amazon. Its pretty accurate running against my 1.125 mile route. The main reason I bought it, I was tried of guessing my mileage on runs. I'm very happy with it so far.

I bought two 305s last febuary, one for me, the other for Mrs Fish from edgegps.com. Spent $170 each. They are refurb, but come with a full warranty.

BTW, mine stopped beeping, so I called Garmin, they sent me a new one as an exchange, but made a mistake and sent a 205 instead. They showed great customer service by sending a cadance kit and a quick release bike to wrist fkit or their mistake!!!!

You might find for cheaper eventually but I think this is probably the bottom unless they offer a rebate.  The problems is they have the 405 out now and I would imagine the rebate was an effort to clear 305's off the shelves.
