Subject: RE: Question about KonaSlipstreaming is when you ride in the draft behind someone as you pass them. IE, you stay behind them until the last possible second, then pull out and go around them. I believe it's not allowed for the pros, as you get a definite benefit doing this, and a group of people working together, legally slipstreaming each other in a kind of rotating paceline, is faster. AGers can still do this, but the pros can't, they have to move out from behind the person they are passing before their enter the draft zone. It prevents an organized pack from being able to pull away from the field. |
