How does post-race transportation work for the R'n'R Marathon? Are there shuttle buses back to the start line or do people take taxis or...? I've never done a race that doesn't end at the starting line.

I'm planning on doing the Half. Do I need to register soon? Does it sell out? I don't care if I save $10 by registering early. I'd rather wait as long as possible and see how my winter training goes first.

You actually take a shuttle from the finish to the start before hand.  So you run to your car.  Some people will get dropped at the start but I found the shuttle to be very efficient last year.

I don't think it sells out...I would guess that you at least have until December anyway.

Hope it works out for you!

Thanks, Lisa! That makes sense. I don't recall reading about the shuttle on the webpage... only about parking. But I might have overlooked it. The webpage is so crowded with all kinds of stuff and ads.

I'm looking forward to it! Flat and fast! Yeah! And 40 degrees at the start is outright balmy that time of year for me.

I'll drive down to the start and  take the light rail home.

(too bad it doesn't go anywhere near the Capitiol)
