After 4 triathlons this summer, and injuring myself in the last one (lakeside II)..... i took some time off drank some beers, and took a lot of time off...2-4 weeks, only did a few spin classes and city cycling point A-B.

This monday im starting up again with a 20k easy 40k hard 20k easy cycle.... then a run to ee where i am, then get into strength training over the next 2 days, then swimming.   Unlimited stretching!!

Im pumped to get going again before christmas.... and getting ready for a very hard 2009 season!!!!! gonna try for 8-10 triathlons!

I live in canada....tri season is over till may.

Ran two miles this morning. Best pace yet. 11:40. I know that's incredibly slow for most people but for me that's incredibly awesome! I've worked for almost two years to get to a 12 min pace. Today I did it. Hopefully I'll be able to do it again next time.

During lunch, I plan to hit the elliptical for 30 minutes. I need to burn some calories. I've been eating too much lately. Time to get back on track.

WhenAllElseFails--Great for you!  I feel your pain.  The running is definitely the hardest part of this for me.  Started out with running around the block, and now I'm trying to work myself up to an hour.  I need the base for the Half-Marathon training program I just imported.  I know I'm crazy--plan starts December, race in May.  Good luck to us both!  Ran this afternoon for 45 minutes.

8 mile ride at lunch.

Not much but I was hanging a little bit today after a dinner party yesterday so I thought at least it was better than nothing!

Good job! (Nice air quality day, huh?)

30 mile ride for me. Had no idea when I started out that a major wildfire had just broken out at my turnaround point, LOL...wow...

Definately revisited some swim sets from high school, a power 500 and 100 IM's. No idea why, it sounded good at the time. Then I did some bike interval training for a little over a half hour. Im done til tomorrow, then I am thinkin biking in the morning and swimming in the evening.
