Subject: Excellent service from CateyeI purchase a Cateye Strada Cadence cycle computer last year (can't remember exactly when). On October 3 of this year, one day before my A-race of the season, the display went crazy, then quit altogether. Thinking it was just the battery, I purchased a new one and installed it. No change in operation. Great-no cadence monitor for a hilly olympic. I emailed Cateye customer service, and within 5 minutes received a reply to send the computer back for warranty review. Fortunately, I had a Cateye wireless computer, but no cadence, that I could install (which I did). I ended up having a great race, an awesome bike and run split, and didn't really miss cadence monitoring a bit... Anyway, Monday, I packed up my Strada, and sent it priority mail back to Cateye. Saturday afternoon, I checked the mailbox, and there was a brand new Strada Cadence computer. No further questions asked! Now, I'm anxious for Santa to bring me some new aerobars that I can install my "new" Cateye on! |
