Looking to pick up a frameset for a winter project.

Any suggestions for someone 5'8 with 30" inseam?  Not sure if one of these is better set-up for someone taller or shorter, currently riding a 53 Cannondale road bike.

Not sold on the 3 I listed just ones I was looking at.

Looking to spend under $1,500 for the frame.

I am 5'10" with a 30 inch inseam and I ride a K-Factor SL size medium which I love.  I can't speak for the other two except that Cervelo is probably the most popular bike.  The K-factor is a great bike in my personal experience.

Why don't you ride a CERVELO like the rest of the world !!!!

You are going to be fine with any of those decisions!  All nice bikes.... I guess I would look at which frame you can REALLY add your personal touch to... Especially if you are building it up!

I know they are all good bikes I was more worried about the fit.

Cross the P2C off the list: $2000 frameset MRSP

The K-Factor can be bought as a complete bike for around $1600 on sale

I was looking at the 08 closeouts for the P2C as well. I'm also 5'8" with a similar inseam, maybe a touch under 30". I got fitted at the local FIST-trained shop and, as I expected, could get away with either the 51 or 54 cm frame. Having a relatively long torso, the 54 is a bit better.

I was all set to buy it, but then found a smoking deal on a brand new 08 P3C frame in the 54cm size. Saved over $500 off what most dealers are getting for the 08's and over $1000 off what the 09 frames go for.

If you do choose the Cervelo, get it soon. The frame hasn't changed for 09, so there's really not much of a reason to get a new one versus a closeout 08. That means they won't last long.

Edit: and yes, the 08 P2C's are selling pretty much everywhere, including LBS, for $1500. Mostly Ultegra-equipped full bike is going for $2100.

Always go by which will fit you best.

The design of the Kuota and P2C is quite different as far as how aggresive you will be set up if you ride the bike as designed. K Factor is made for regular folks.

I'm just under 5'6" and have 30.25 inseam and ride a small K Factor and love it.
