Subject: Pain after swimming
The last two times after I have finished swimming, I found myself curled over with strong stomach cramps. Last week I had a power bar about 30 minutes before getting in the pool and today I went on an empty stomach. Same problem, despite the change in diet. I would up lying down on some grass and the pressure felt good on my stomach. I've felt fine the rest of the day but am concerned that I am doing something wrong while swimming or should change my diet?

What kind of pain? Could it be from using ur abs more? Possibly dehydrated or low on potassium.  How long have u been swimming? exercising?

You could be swallowing a lot of air (and/or water) when swimming. It's pretty common and can take some getting used to. When I got more efficient with my stroke it stopped happening, but even now after a long set in the pool or OW I still can get it. I usually concentrate on not swallowing and regularly try and 'burp' myself to get air out.
