How comfortably can you complete the race distances in each discipline as stand-alone events?

You could do what I do and just enter.

I did this last one with very little swimming and running.  Didn't do that well, but hey, I was out there.  Makes you kind of wonder.   If you enjoy swimming, biking and running so much, why are you in such a hurry to get it all over with?

Just make sure you don't push yourself too hard and get an injury.  If you do push yourself really hard and it was a little premature, be very careful for the next 72 hours after the race.  That can be the time you really do some damage.

My advice - do it.You have a better base than I did a couple of weeks ago when I did my first. And, if you're like me, you'll be motivated by your results (either positively or negatively) and want to do it again and again.I'm hooked based on a bad result in my first tri. But you'll never know until you do it.So do it. And have fun.

With that training I am sure you can do it just fine.  What I did was I found a Sprint Tri which I just completed on Labor Day and for a couple weekends beforehand I did the swim, bike, run on Saturdays to know what my time would be.  I found out my swim had improved and I had to contact the race director after I had signed up to change my swim time since that is how they number you according to swim time.  It was a pool swim.   I was glad I did the test runs I set up at home to know I could complete it.

Yup, you should be fine. It would be helpful to have done some bricks, but there's no rule that says you need to be at the end of a training plan. Plans are generally designed to conclude with a "priority" race, but you can substitute a race for that day's workout just fine.

While I was on my Oly plan I did 4 sprints--dialed down the workouts a day or two before, then raced, then rest day after. Then it was back to my plan.

You are 100% able to finish a sprint if your base is that high.  That doesn't mean you are going to win the overall, but you will find it isn't as hard as you were expecting.  Just my opinion!

It seems like you are ready through your training. Plus you get extra adrenaline on race day too. I just started training (from the couch) in April and have done 3 sprint tri's since the beginning of August. I'm looking forward to going longer next year.

As long as you can comfortably finish the swim distance (which it appears you can), then you are ready. At some point during the run, you will know you are going to finish, then you just have to ask yourself how much you want it to hurt. You will do fine..enjoy it!

Hello

You are ready.

Go enjoy the fruits of your training and race.  Practice your transitions, print out a race check-list and try to get some sleep before the race.

Enjoy!

This may come as a surprise, but even with 2, 3, 5, 6, or even 12 months of focused training for a.specific.race, many people are still unsure if they're ready for it.

Sign up, show up, and enjoy the day.

Seriously man.  You are beyond ready.  Don't go in stressing yourself out like you need to prove anything to anyone.  Go in the first one to get the hang of things and to have fun.  Take the pressure off because it's just not necessary.  Event one is so you can establish a baseline in which to improve upon and to learn how everything works.  (at least that's how I looked at it)

You already know you can do the distances so look at it as a great training day and go have fun.

bike 12-20 miles - definitely ready.

Do it...  you'll always feel like theres more you could of done.

Side note, if its an OWS with a group start you'll question your readiness in the first 100m.  Push through it.  get your head right.  your ready...

Git'er done!  Many have finished with less mileage/yardage than you are putting in... (myself included...)
