IM Moo Registration

On site registration is at 9 (local time-central in this case) (and from my understanding, they may have opened that early for volunteers.)  If I recall correctly, online reg doesn't start until 11 am (local race time), and it's always been like that.

I am in line in Madison. I think volunteers started at 7. They just opened general entry. Line is about 500 deep. Online is at 11 am local time. I believe it has always been like that.

Thanks to both of you - maybe I'm just misremembering the time.

Just knowing it's on the calendar is getting me reved up. It's gonna be a chore to finish resting the torn calf before I get back at it.

I can't believe it! I'm in too! I told my husband there was absolutely NO chance, but I would try anyway. Hope he doesn't mind too much

Just got back from Madison.  Drove up this morning.  I'm in.  Got the hotel booked as well.  Staying at the Monona Terrace Hilton.

Thanks, Kathy!  You are an inspiration to all of us here!  It is kinda scary.  I just volunteered at IMWI and when I got there on Friday, I was 90% sure I would sign up for 2010.  After working the change tent all day, I dropped to about 50% after witnessing T2!

But I gave them my money this morning..

I'm in too!  It'll be my first full IM, and I'm so excited!!!!  I was all sweaty and nervous waiting to get into registration...worried I wouldn't get a spot....

Kathy - Good to see you here. You were a great help/inspiration leading up to IM LP 08. I've been absent for a while, but will be back now that there is another IM on the calendar.

First IM I went to FL '06 I came away saying no way do I want to do one of those...the agony I saw on the folks faces and the reality of how hard it really is struck home and scared me. It didn't look fun at all.

It wasn't until I was in a bad bike crash the following year I realized I wanted to do an Ironman and it was the reality of what I could have lost in the crash.

So now two down and can't wait to sign up for number 3.

Greg, hope you have a great time training for it...training is the hard part race day is normally the easier than training...it wasn't for me at Canada this year.
