Subject: RE: questions on the ism adamo racing saddleMy experience...
I was dealing with some major numbness down below riding a conventional saddle on rides for more than 4 hours. I had serious issues after my IM.
So I swithched to the Adamo. At first, I just switch one problem for the another. The Adamo has a wider nose, so I was getting some serious chaffing in my groin at my inner thighs but NO numbness. Then I found a cycling website that shows you how to set up your Adamo correctly to deal with the change in geomtry/design. They suggested having just a slight downward angle and they tell you how to adjust it front to back for the propper fit. After making the changes, the chaffing went away and now it fits GREAT. Love it.
In fact, I just bought a road bike and I took it out on a 4.5 hour ride witht the standard stock saddle. Numbness returned... I need to get another Adamo for the road bike. |
