Looking at the results from last year for a sprint tri i wanted to do this year. Glanced at the 1-15AG
top 2 times

400yd swim 13 mile bike 5k run

These kids would damn near lap me, I was like ha ya i could keep up in the swim and maybe the bike then bam sub 6 min
 miles I just dont understand.

I agree. I just did the Pacific Grove Triathlon (Sprint) with 400m S, 12.2mi B, 2mi R...516 competitors. I managed 1st in my age group and 35th overall with the 9th fastest run, however...

A 14 year old girl beat me by 3 minutes and placed 19th overall and was the first female finisher. And averaged 21 mph on the rolling hills bike course. And held a 6:12 pace on the run. I think this may be another Chrissie Wellington of the future. I cannot imagine how fast she will be at 20/30/40+.
