Subject: RE: training from 1/2 to full ironmanI don't think these really have any impact on each other. Train for the 1/2, then jump into the full training plan at the appropriate spot. You'll actually probably end up going down in volume.
I followed Don Fink's Be IronFit plan, and he had a 1/2 scheduled in there 10 weeks before the full. If the 2 races were closer together like that, I'd say just follow the IM plan and schedule the 1/2 as part of training.
