Subject: Quadriceps like a rock...what do you suggest ?Hi all. Hope you all are having a great season. My 1st season as a triathlete has been filled by 2 Sprints and 2 Olympics. During both Olympics, on the run, around Km 5, I started feeling my quads hard like rock. Not sure what I'm missing  . I've ran couple of 1/2 marathons in 2007/2008 and can easily complete them in just less than 2 hours without any quad issue. I did one full marathon end of 2008, and had cramps at Km 30, when I had to mix run/walk until the end. Both Olympics I completed in just bellow 3 hours. I'm a "salty sweater". I'm not sure if I miss hidration, extra stretching, or simply not trainning enough. Have you guys experienced anything similar ? Thanks for the advice. /Fabio. |
