A thread on Tri Talk got me to thinking: What would happen if you had a really bad accident during an event. Let's say you had to be out of work for a few weeks/months. I have life insurance, and great medical insurance, but accident insurance?...nope. I'm not sure what USAT offers as far as coverage, but I have to assume it's not much...I have 2-3 weeks of vacation/sick leave saved up, but what if that's not enough? We never think about these things, and I never hear ppl talk much about them... I'd like to hear from some of you... |

Regular 99 Augusta, Georgia | Subject: RE: Accident Insurance I was going to say the same thing...I would look into short-term disability insurance. that is insurance for if you have to take time off because you can't work, but you aren't permanently injured. i know my job offers that option for insurance if you want to opt in. |
