Normans walking!!  Wow.

Just goes to show how quickly things can change. About 30 minutes ago, he looked strong, and now. . .

Another interesting thing:

Potts is slowing but he he is just on the bubble of cracking the Top 10 right now. Take that 4 min penalty away and pretty sure he's a top 5 guy.... Not too bad for a 1st time out.

Next year, it's Andy Potts we will be watching blowing away the field (hopefully). This is still a learning year for him.

I really hopes he goes to long distance from now on instead of London.

I think he will. I am pretty sure he is not going to keep up the rigors of ITU stuff. Funny thing is, when he was swimming at UM he was so much faster than what he is today. But he also could not put all three together back then. he's a great guy and really works hard for what he's got.

I would bet he stays with 70.3. It's just a perfect match for his racing style. Who knows though....

That would be nice to see. It's nice to see a local NJ guy out there killing it....

I think one of the most impressive things of the day:

* Rutger Beke (#41) at 3:40
* Ronnie Schildknecht (#31) at 4:20
* Cameron Brown (#25) at 4:30
* Timo Bracht (#15) at 4:30

These guys are behind Llanos.... What a change in flux to the top 5

How old is Potts? ? ?   Is he on his way up, or is he at an age where he might be peaking? ? ?

Birkierunner - 2008-10-11 6:43 PM dude...that woman threw/dropped her helmet and didn't pick it up...isn't that a DQ?

I agree with that since it would be abandoning equipment.

Wouldn't Chrissie Wellington be DQ's for peeing on the side of the rode, if she's pulling her pants down?  I obviously haven't seen it, but thats 2x now she has stopped to pee.
