Annoying, but what do you do? Rubber mats and laminate floors make for relatively easy cleanup. Combine that with two younger dogs greeting a skunk in the front yard....SO was NOT impressed. Of course, she went home a little earlier than I as I was dropping off my son at home, so she was dealing with it all alone...Poor little Sammy skunk was hiding in a storage shelf in the carport when I got home. I made him a little escape route so he could go on his merry way as the young dog got a bath... Too bad we had put the old boxspring/mattress out there for donation--I don't think anyone will be wanting it now! |

My longest run to date was yesterday, 12.5km. Do I try to get another long run in next weekend (1 week to race day), or just do some shorter up tempo stuff? I felt pretty good yesterday, other than being holy hell hot! |

Without a doubt the black. The green doesn't match the blueish on the shorts. Although, there is a cutie patootie photobombing the green one! |

OK, so I have NO HIM experience--my first one is in three weeks, so take this for what it's worth (and hopefully people who don't have their head up their azz will also give some insight). I like to get as close to the distance or over before a race, just so there's no niggle in my mental game. I sleep better knowing I can do the distance no probs. My note would be to do another long run, no tempo, keep it easy, but just get some miles. I will be watching eagerly to see what those who know what they're talking about have to say:) |
