Thanks for sharing, but there is no way I am posting (or buying for that matter) any of the pictures from Sunday! Normally even when I am not having a good race, if I see the photographer I'll fake a smile.  But I missed them all Sunday!

I flipped through them, showed my wife, had a good laugh and deleted them!

Way to expensive for a silly photo to post on a thread.

You can save the low-res images to your PC without paying a dime, but anyway you seem pretty set against posting. That's fine, too. I'm just trying to get to know some of the local folks, being fairly new to the area.

I had a dumb question about the race, which I will post here.....

At the race on Sunday when you came off of Lakeshore Drive on the run, ran the gravely course up towards the finish, as you hit the grass, it looked like there was a timing mat right there, and then there was one further up by the clock.  Which one was the timing mat?  I kind of slowed down at the first one, until I saw the second one and then I wasn't sure where the run ended.

Anyone remember that?

I remember that, but don't know the answer.  I ran through to the second one just in case.

The first set of mats you ran over where for the announcer and the second under the finish arch  for the finishers time.  Sometimes the announcer mats can be used as a backup of the back up mats at the finish line if the finish mats for some reason miss someones finish times.  Not all race venues use announcer mats.

 Hope this helps,

Rich

That's me!

Ok, I'll play along!!  In the others, I look like death.  I saw the photographer for this one and tried to look like I was enjoying the moment.  Wink

I have a bunch of those last will and testament photos from other events. There's a couple of me that look like stills from the JFK assassination footage.

Maybe the facial expression was from seeing your brother skip through that section of the course!

If you are not familiar with that shot, check out marmadaddy's page from a couple of days ago and enter the photo caption contest!
