I really need/want to get in some OW swimming, and a hill workout on the bike never hurts for us living in the flat lands. See ya all out there Saturday morning at 6:45. I may just ride out there on my bike, if someone will have a place for me to secure my bike during the swim? (I'm supposed to get in 3 1/2 hours on the bike that day, and I live about 15 or so miles from the park.) I'll have to think about that, maybe I'll just drive out and extend the ride. - Tim |

I will be there so you will not suffer alone. I need the time in the saddle and I love the long swims now so I am down for that too. The water is nice, but you will hate life when you hit the first hill. 10 feet out of the parking lot. Hills make you a better rider. I just keep telling myself that, maybe some day I will believe it. |

Chad - it is the same dock we did the OWS last Tuesday night from - only on the northside of the parking lot. General Group - I believe that my Sat class is canceled due in large part to packet pick-up. I think this may afford me the opportunity to join you. I may or may not be there for the swim portion, but the bike leg should be a go for Jerry P. (more affectionately known as IM_JER or Cousin Eddie with man-junk!) Tanya - A chance to pick me up on the side of the road is reason enough to switch ride days this weekend and let Matt take a Sunday cruise for a change! |

Tweaked my back yesterday working in the yard and couldn't get going this morning. Damnit!! Going now though... so hopefully it was just tightness and nothing is injured. We'll see how the day goes. Is it just me or do any of you get the urge to tell everyone that hey hate them while on that ride? Also why does someone always hit a skunk right there on that road. There was wo this time. I have never in my 28yrs of living in AZ seen a skunk other than dead on the highway. I swear there only come out in the open to kill themselves on the road. But you all did great. Good to meet you all too. And I don't hate you all anymore just while I am suffering on the hills. |
