Would love to see Andy Potts pull it off, but don't think he will be able to against such an experienced and strong field. Sentimental fav for me on the women's side would be Tara Norton. Just feel she deserves it. But I think it will be Kate Major this time. |

Also saw Kate Major win there several years ago. And of course who can't help but love Badmann? On the men's side, I'm not such a fan of Stadler. But what a bike split he does! Not really sure whom I'll be routing for, but Chris McCormack is a cutie. |

I would pick a lot of other guys before him tho alexander?? not if the wind is blowing. he has experience now?? what 2 Ironman races and none since Kona last?? I wouldn't be surprized if he has a rough one.. Other possibilities.. Vernay, Stadler, Llanos hmmm.. Al Sultan if he can get his head right ... Sindballe.. will need some viscious winds and then mild temps for the run
who could beat Wellington?? I give her 2-1 odds but outside shots have Csomor, VanVlerken and Major?? |

Interesting either way. The women's race will be a battle for second place behind Wellington unless something crazy happens, she is on fire. |
