Subject: RE: 'tis the season for crock potsMade BBQ spareribs in the crockpot today. Cut apart the ribs into separate pieces. Spray crockpot with nonstick spray and lay ribs into crockpot. Cover with favorite BBQ sauce. Cook on high 6-8hrs. After about 6 hrs, I used a baster to remove most of the fat/liquid from the bottom of the crockpot and added more sauce. The ribs fell off the bone and tasted amazing. I usually cooked them in the pressure cooker and finished them on the grill but the pressure cooker and the grill are both on the fritz. I will definitely be making ribs in the crockpot again! |
